Johnny Cash would have been 76 on Feb. 26, and two of his children, John Carter Cash and Cindy Cash, will remember their dad at a birthday celebration at the Fender Center in Corona, CA, next weekend.
The center is the home of the exhibit “Cash: An American Icon,” featuring stage clothes, instruments, handwritten lyrics, and other memorabilia. The birthday event will include seminars along with question-and-answer sessions with Cash family members and associates.
A complete collection of Gold and Platinum awards representing the 90-million records sold by Johnny Cash will also be unveiled during the celebration, and the event will feature a performance by the Johnny Cash tribute band, Cashed Out.
