Brad Paisley Celebrates Ten
Country Music star Brad Paisley has only been making records for ten years, but his achievements could fill up a lifetime.

To celebrate those first ten years, Arista Nashville threw Brad a party last night, honoring his great achievements. Among those are 10 #1 hits, 10 million albums sold, 10 years signed with the label and being 10th on the list for most CMA Award nominations.

“Success is more difficult than failure in many ways,” Brad said. “It’s also more fun.”

Among those attending last night’s event were Little Jimmy Dickens, label head Joe Galante, producer Frank Rogers and Brad’s father Doug, who remembers when his son was young and just getting started.

“The day he drove away in his Firebird, I knew in my heart he wouldn’t be back home,” he said.

Brad choked up a little bit as he thanked everyone in attendance as well as his fans who still love him all these years later. He also started looking ahead towards the future.

“Hopefully this isn’t a ‘great-job-we-enjoyed-having-you-around-party,’” he said. “I got a lot left to say.”
